I'm Samantha, a 22 year old swimming teacher from Melbourne. I know nothing about birds, but recently found a stray which I believe to be a bantam Aussie Pit Game hen. It's been suggested that she may be crossed with something else, so I think this seems like a good place to try to find some answers to confirm her breed and age. Hi Samantha, she definitely does have pit game in her origins, however she is crossed with some softfeather breed, that is the reason she is so fluffy around the rear. The comb is natural, it is called mulberry in colour, which is fine. The reason for her being the boss in the pen is the game bird in her background, they can be a bit cranky at times, especially when they have chickens to protect.
